Omega-3 for Menopausal Depression

Are you a MENOPAUSAL WOMAN feeling depressed or down?

If you are a menopausal woman age 40 or older and:

  • Have experienced changes in your menstrual cycle
  • Are feeling down or depressed
  • Are not currently taking anti-depressants or hormone therapy

You may be eligible for a research study at Massachusetts General Hospital
evaluating how omega-3 fatty acids treat menopausal depression.
Women who participate will receive study medication and evaluations
of their mood at no cost, and will be compensated up to $450 over the
course of the 9 week study.
