Dr. April Malia Hirschberg received her M.D. from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. She has an appointment as Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Hirschberg spent a year working with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department at Massachusetts General Hospital before she joined the Center for Women’s Mental Health. Her clinical interests include treating women with psychiatric illness during pregnancy and postpartum as well as during the transition to menopause.
