I want to thank you for this article and for this wonderful website. I just was referred here after spending the last year trying to find an ob/gyn who has some knowledge about adjusting medications to treat Bi-Polar II during pregnancy. I will definitely be making an appointment in the morning-but this article was wonderful for me. I have been on lamictal for several years and after getting mixed reviews from doctors on lamictal, I've cut down my dosage as I've been TTC. I really can't go much below where I am if I want to stay stable, and I was told the other medications are much more harmful. Learning more about how levels of Lamictal in the blood may change during pregnancy is just the type of information I've been seeking. Thank you so much for this resource!!!!
