I really do not put much stock into the whole FDA approved mantra.....many drugs years later that were FDA approved have been found to be harmful to humans. I am more interested in how the medication has improved my quality of life. You maybe right that natural doesn't always means safe because all medicine have side effects and the fact that these are not FDA approved, may be the reason why adverse effects were not reported.
